My favorite revision strategy is to get every idea that comes to mind about the prompt down on paper. Once I have done that I like to go through my thoughts and figure out the argument I can take that not only interests me but also helps answer all parts to the prompt. I will then create a very rough draft that typically does not include any punctuation at all after I will go through and add the punctuation and make sure it all makes sense. From there I will continue with my revision process.
